When I was reading my book of Luann strips I came up with the idea of doing a new comic strip about a worker at a book store with a pet fish who adopts a stray cat, dog, and rat.
These are model sheets for one of my "Teen Animal" characters Bertrum Coon. I had originally depicted him as a bat but then I thought it wouldn't make much sense for a bat to be out during the daytime so I decided to turn him into a raccoon instead. I have an idea for a very funny story with him as the center point at it all.
I'm nearly done with the illustrations to my book I will have them done this month and then all that will be left to do will be the cover for the book. These are two of my favorite scenes for my book I think it's funny where Louie and Teddy are trying to get an ant for breakfast and I like the expression I drew on Judy's face.
These are illustrations that I have done for a book that I wrote and will be publishing soon. I'am publshing the book through lulu.com a website that lets people publish their books through them.
My first illustration is of my main character Joey the fawn looking down at the camp watching a bus pull up, my next one is of Roger one of my human characters greeting the boys in their cabin, my third one is of Rocky the raccoon looking into the counselor's office, my fourth one is of Roger telling Betty what happened in the office, and my last one for now is of Joey and his mom Amy playing in the creek.
